Job Title: Intermediate Business Systems AnalystJob ID: AD15680375Location: Surrey, BCOverview:Our client is looking for a Business Systems Analyst who will play an important role in linking their information technology capacity with their business objectives. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business, using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports that result in improved operational efficiency and problem solving. This is a full-time position working from Monday to Friday with the occasional change in work schedule to meet operational needs. What you will be doing:

• Support the phased multi-year deployment of iMIS (Registrant/member management platform).
• Oversight of information management including the organization and access to information and data.
• Review company policies/procedures, analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Work closely with the Leadership Team to achieve outcomes based on company goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with the IT Service Provider for the smooth running of iMIS and support future deployments.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing of system capabilities with team members.
• Perform administration of corporate application data and databases to identify and prioritize technical and functional requirements.
• Perform detailed analysis of data, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for the organization.
• Analyze and determine business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions to build effective reports, dashboards and strategies to utilize corporate data to its fullest extent.
• Participate in projects and initiatives of new applications, systems and services that strengthen the organization's data sets including the implementation of a new regulatory information system.
• Ensure the solution design intent is realized and works seamlessly with existing systems and infrastructure.
• Implement the design structured testing to ensure functionality as per requirements and identify and address deficiencies.
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

What you must have:

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience that demonstrates a firm grasp of data management, analytics and IT operational best practices.
• 5+ Years' experience in business / systems analysis or quality assurance (regulatory environment an asset).
• Demonstrated capabilities in gathering business requirements from the interaction and communication with stakeholders.
• Experience with relational databases and reporting/data visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Experience involving technical end user support.
• Ability to troubleshoot business process changes, errors, and subsequent modifications.
• Experienced in writing operational policies and processes.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices.
• Strong sense of time management and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn new concepts/processes.
• Proven ability to establish priorities and strong attention to detail.
