Cabin Resources Management Ltd. has built a foundation of experience and dedication to quality and innovative solutions in four main divisions: forestry, environmental operations, recreation solutions and wildfire management. We are currently looking to add a Timber Cruiser to our Forestry team.
Responsibilities:
- Timber cruising, cruise plan submissions, final submissions and coordinating cruising crews
- Reporting hardware and software issues, safely using handheld devices and filing
- Committing to high safety standards that align with the Project Manager
- This position is predominantly field-based
Qualifications and Experience:
- A proven commitment to safety
- Experience with Timber Cruising in the interior of BC
- Registered or eligible for registration as Accredited Timber Cruiser or Accredited Timber Evaluator
- Sound knowledge of the FLNRO Cruising Manual and associated legislation and regulations including familiarity with call grading procedures
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License and legally allowed to work in Canada
- A huge passion for forestry and be an awesome team member
- All other forestry experience is considered an asset
