Cyntech is seeking a Project Coordinator in our Calgary, AB office to provide engineering, estimating and administrative support to the Engineering and Project Management teams
Target Programs: Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Qualifications:
- Team player
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with AutoCAD can be helpful but is not mandatory.
- Possess good verbal, written, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Qualified candidates should be working towards a BS degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong attention to detail
- Initiative to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Complete administrative tasks and manage documentation associated with specific projects.
- Complete preliminary engineered designs which incorporate aspects of both geotechnical and structural engineering
- Carry out cost estimates and complete proposals for new opportunities.
- Prepare CAD drawings for the manufacturing team and client.
- Issue work orders to the manufacturing team & track manufacturing progress.
- Treat all customers, internal and external, with respect, courtesy and integrity.
- Maintain effective relations with the project management and manufacturing teams through an excellent attitude, good knowledge, efficient work practices and proper documentation.
