About the Job

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to play a key role overseeing the planning, execution and implementation of Laivly's unique AI solutions for the world's biggest brands. This isn't a traditional corporate Project Manager role. You'll have the freedom to assess current practices, to improve the way we move projects to completion, and to continue building out our PMO. You'll need to be a dynamic team player with the ability to plan, coordinate and adapt quickly while facilitating effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.


As a Project Manager, you will

Project Planning:

  • Collaborate with the Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions teams to ensure the scope and objectives are properly defined for each project
  • Get the right stakeholders involved at the outset of the project and ensure everyone understands the deliverables and deadlines
  • Work with the Solutions and Configuration teams to generate timeline estimates on project tasks
  • Create client facing project plans with clear time-bound deliverables and milestones that have assigned owners

Project Execution:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the project execution including but not limited to - budget, timeline, tasks, etc.
  • Coordinate meetings, both internally and externally
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication between internal teams asynchronously such that all parties are aware of time sensitive tasks
  • Work with the Customer Success Managers in creating slide decks for client project update meetings
  • Hold stakeholders at all levels accountable for deliverables
  • Work to remove blockers and escalate issues to the executive level when necessary
  • Identify risks, create mitigation strategies, and troubleshoot issues
  • Support external IT teams in the implementation and installation of Laivly products
  • Conduct retrospectives and implement process improvements
  • Identify and implement enhancements to project management practices
  • Develop SOPs and share best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned

As a Project Manager, you have

Project Management Expertise:

  • At least 3 years experience working on multiple concurrent & unrelated projects
  • Strong knowledge and experience in project management, working with technical teams, using methodologies and software
  • Ability to plan, execute, and control projects effectively, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards

Adaptability and Flexibility:

  • The ability to adapt to change, handle ambiguity, and quickly adjust project plans and strategies is essential
  • Comfort with technology and frequent technological change

Communication and Stakeholder Management:

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to manage up as well as down
  • Ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong stakeholder management skills – can identify and manage project expectations and ensure alignment between project objectives and stakeholder needs

Organization and Initiative:

  • The ability to self-manage daily duties in a fast-paced, dynamic & changing environment, while working alone and in teams
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to finish tasks within tight timelines
  • A drive to constantly improve how things are done

Risk Management:

  • Proficiency in identifying and assessing risks throughout project life cycles, developing risk mitigation strategies, and recommending contingency plans

Problem-solving and Decision-making:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to identify and address project issues promptly
  • Able to make informed decisions based on available information, considering project constraints, business objectives, and stakeholder input

Technical Proficiency:

  • Understand commonly used IT concepts and systems
