Job Description:
As a Landscape Construction Foreman, you will independently lead and execute residential and commercial landscape construction projects with precision. Overseeing the full scope of projects, interpreting blueprints and manage overall landscape projects will be second nature. Your role involves mentoring the team, leading by example with boots on the ground, ensuring craftsmanship, excellence, and prioritizing on-site safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Independently lead and execute landscape projects from inception to completion.
- Operate and manage a variety of construction equipment with skill and precision.
- Lead and execute activities such as grading, hardscaping, planting, and irrigation.
- Translate blueprints and project specifications for projects completion.
- Mentor and lead a crew, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Ensure safety in every aspect of the job.
- Work in conjunction with Project Manager and other division manager to ensure quality work.
- Ensure daily tracking of job progress using company software.
- Perform seasonal winter work on anti ice and snow removal as required.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in Landscape Construction or similar industry.
- Exposure leading teams effectively.
- Mastery of landscape construction techniques, materials, and equipment operation
- Proficiency in landscape grading and site preparation (leveling, drainage, slope calculations)
- Proficiency building retaining walls (Allan block, dry stack, gravity walls boulders, masonry).
- Proficiency in paver installations (patterns, types, i.e. aqua pave)
- Proficiency in reading and executing blueprints and project specifications.
- Knowledge of irrigation installation, systems, and controllers.
- Leadership prowess with the ability to inspire and guide a team in the field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to use MS Office and different software (LMN experience is an asset).
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Class 5 driver's license.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop for extended periods.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.

Compensation
$90.000 to $102.000 a year
