As a Runner, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects by efficiently delivering essential building products and materials to various construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, knowledge of construction materials, and a strong commitment to safety and punctuality.

Responsibilities:

• Delivery Services: Safely operate a truck with a trailer to transport building products and materials to construction sites.
• Material Knowledge: Utilize knowledge of construction materials and products to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling and securing of items for transportation.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure safety and optimal performance.
• Route Planning: Plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and timely deliveries.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with the logistics team, construction site managers, and other stakeholders to coordinate deliveries.
• Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and invoices, accurately and promptly.

Qualifications:

• Driving Skills: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to drive a truck with a trailer is imperative.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
• Building Materials Knowledge: Basic understanding of construction materials is an asset.
• Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to meet tight delivery deadlines.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
• Safety Conscious: Prioritize safety in all aspects of the job, adhering to traffic rules and ensuring secure transportation of materials.
