We are currently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in Canada. Please find the detailed job description below. This position provides full-time employment with remote work, though candidates must reside within Canadian borders.


In this position, we are looking for an individual who can advocate for developer needs by addressing technical support tickets, developing onboarding materials including training and documentation, and conducting quarterly analyses on incoming tickets. As we enhance our knowledge management portal and collaborate closely with partner platform teams to align with their requirements, this role will play a vital part in expanding our support model and empowering our developer community.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support: Collaborate with developers to understand and resolve issues promptly and Represent developer needs by efficiently processing technical support tickets

Onboarding Material: Create thorough onboarding resources, encompassing training sessions and documentation, to ensure developers seamlessly integrate into our platform services.

Knowledge Sharing: Take an active role in developing and maintaining a knowledge management portal and encourage a culture of sharing knowledge and collaboration among the developer community.

Quarterly Analysis: Perform routine analysis of incoming technical support tickets to recognize trends and areas that require improvement and offer insights to enrich the developer experience and streamline support processes.

Collaboration with Partner Platform Teams: Collaborate closely with partner platform teams to grasp their requirements ensure our platform aligns with their needs and work together to scale the support model and tackle challenges in a dynamic setting.

Scaling Support Model: Participate in the continuous development of our knowledge management portal to improve support capabilities and take on a crucial role in expanding our support model to accommodate the changing needs of our expanding developer community.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
· Proven experience in a DevOps or Developer Relations role.
· Strong knowledge of software development, deployment, and support processes.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive continuous improvement.
· Experience working with cross-functional teams and partner platform teams.
· Hands-on scripting experience with Python.
· Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
· Experience with continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins and Spinnaker.
· Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
· Experience with observability practices, tooling, and solutions, including Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, and NewRelic.
