Job duties:
- Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades required at construction sites.
- Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
- Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, cement finishers in construction activities.
- Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and help in other activities.
- Assist in drilling and blasting rock at construction sites.
- Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel.
- Assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials.
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment.
- Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed.
- Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors, and pumps.
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
- Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
- Maintenance on construction equipment and tools.
- Snow removal in the winter.
Terms of employment:
- Full time permanent.
- Language of work: English.
- Wage: $20, annual bonuses.
- Benefits package offered: Medical extended benefits after 3 months, company will pay 50%.
- Location(s) of work: Same as business location and various locations in Edmonton and surrounding areas, Calgary and surrounding areas, and various locations within Alberta depending on where our projects are located.

Skills / Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year as a construction labor.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting.
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
- Ability to work shifts – days, evenings, weekends and holidays
