Overview

We are seeking a talented Technical Services Support professional to join our team remotely. As a Technical Services Support, you will play a crucial role in providing IT support, assisting with DevOps tasks, and contributing to our IT infrastructure's efficiency and security.

Your day-to-day

• Responding to tickets and support requests, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Troubleshooting end-user issues and resolving technical problems.
• Configuring laptops and facilitating new user onboarding.
• Supporting the development team with DevOps tasks, including CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
• Administering cloud-based IT services such as ClickUp, Timely, Code2, and Azure.
• Managing asset tracking and license management.
• Creating and reviewing IT policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Managing backup systems and virtualization through Proxmox.

You must have:

• At least 1 year of related experience
• A High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of Windows system administration
• Basic programming or scripting skills
• Strong Oral and written English skills
• Eligibility to work in Canada

It is nicer if you have:

• Experience creating or working with IT security policies
• College or university degree in computer science or related field
• Knowledge of programming bash scripts, batch files, and PowerShell
• Experience with database systems.
• Experience with XML
• Experience with Component Content Management Systems
• Experience with version control, e.g. Git
• Knowledge of M365 (Entra ID, Intune, Exchange)
• Familiarity with Cyber security frameworks
• Understanding of VLAN/Subnetting/Networking
