POSITION: Quality Assurance Technician REPORTS TO: Manager, HACCP & Quality Assurance
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our Quality Assurance team! Our Quality Assurance Technician will help us ensure all our products meet regulatory, internal, and customer requirements.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- You have knowledge of GFSI standards (BRC, SQF or FSSC 22000)
- You understand HACCP concepts and processes (training in HACCP)
- You have intermediate level Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
EXPERIENCE
- You have a Degree in Food Science or related discipline
- You have experience working in a similar capacity, preferably in a food production facility
NICE-TO-HAVE
- You have experience troubleshooting complex QA issues
THINGS YOU WILL DO…
- Ensure products meet company and regulatory standards by running tests, inspections, reports and more
- Help manage all QA and QC records, documents, and samples pertaining to HACCP, BRC, CFIA, etc. • Support with writing and improving standard operating procedures
- Champion shelf life studies and create meaningful reports
- Participate in internal and external audits and implement needed changes
- Effectively communicate quality control expectations to employees and support with training for GMP's
OTHER…
- You are willing to work flexible shifts to cover for vacations, sick days, or leave if required
- You must be available to work shifts that rotate every 6 months:
- Sun-Thu 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM; 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
- Valid DL preferred

Salary - $45,300 - $53,500
