The Opportunity

PMAM is currently searching for a meticulous, resourceful, and results-oriented individual to join the firm's technology team as a Front-End Developer reporting to the Head of Technology. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the design and implementation of user interfaces (UIs) and UI components for web and mobile applications using React.js to help us launch exciting new capabilities for Financial Advisors.

The front-end developer will be highly proficient with React.js. with a primary focus on developing interface components and implementing them. The incumbent will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. They will also coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the application

Responsibilities of the Role

  • Development of new highly responsive, translating wireframes into web-based user interfaces that are efficient, reusable well-designed and high-quality using React.js.
  • Develop a flexible and well-structured front-end architecture, along with the APIs to support it.
  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
  • Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Designing highly responsive web-based user interfaces
  • Debugging & optimizing code to enable maximum performance across devices and browsers.
  • Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents.
  • Participating in code reviews

The Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of front-end development experience using React.js.
  • Proven experience with component based CMSs (Magnolia, Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, and Sitecore) with extensive knowledge of component architecture, templating systems, and content modeling.
  • Solid understanding of UX and UI design with an emphasis on building reusable web components.
  • Experience in JavaScript(jQuery), CSS, HTML, and responsive design.
  • Advanced Knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tailwind.
  • Experience in CSS frameworks such as Tailwinds, Foundation, Bootstrap.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI design tool Figma.
  • Experience with JSON and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity in building front end web application using component-based content management applications.
  • Desire to learn new UI development skills/certifications e.g., Magnolia.
  • Experienced in using code versioning tools preferably Azure Git hub.
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
