Job DescriptionTo provide quality patient care to postpartum women and new-born patients and to support the breastfeeding experience.
Qualifications- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current Heart & Stroke approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire
- Current IBCLC and breastfeeding support experience required.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification required at time of hire and ongoing.
- Related courses in maternal/new-born nursing.
- Demonstrated ability to work with families.
- Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Good team player.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record required.
Additional Information
Hours of Work: Monday-Sunday 08-1600, 0830-1630
Salary: $39.07 to $56.00 per hour
