Due to continued and expected growth, we are seeking a self-directed Regional Sales Territory Manager.

Job Summary

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, entrepreneurial-minded Industrial Sales Specialist to promote our high-value Endurance products (Heavy Duty Steelcord and Textile conveyor belting, corrugated sidewall, and other fabricated belts) to customers throughout Western Canada. (across Western Canada – British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba)

The Regional Sales Territory Manager will conduct all sales activities from lead generation to deal closing using technical selling skills and focused product knowledge to deliver superior solutions to customers. The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of account management, sales, and promotion to the Heavy-Duty Mining, Shipping ports, Cement, Aggregate, and other material moving industries.

The ideal candidate is someone who has a proven record of industrial sales achievement, enjoys interacting with people, and thinks outside the box to provide tailor-made solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow sales relationships with existing clients, Identify and solicit potential clients
  • Generate and pursue sales leads within assigned territory.
  • Assess customers' needs, recommend, assist in the selection of appropriate product solutions, and negotiate prices or other sales terms.
  • Develop sales presentations, proposals, or other materials to illustrate the benefits from the use of company products or services.
  • Develop technical product knowledge to explain Endurance features to clients and answer any questions customers may have.
  • Develop, implement, and report on marketing plans and sales strategies to achieve business goals
  • Assess market conditions and competitors' activities and develop an awareness of emerging markets and trends
  • Gather information, evaluate requirements, and collaborate on quotations made to existing and prospective customers.
  • Follow up with customers (on all outstanding quotations).
  • Consult with clients after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
  • Consistent reporting and participation with management regarding business development strategies.
  • Meet with clients to provide on-site technical assessments.
  • Travel required, including occasional international travel.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree/diploma from an accredited college/university in Engineering or 5+ years of Industrial/technical sales experience is a benefit
  • Strong engineering or hands-on practical experience in conveyor systems is also an asset.
  • Operational background in construction, mining, cement, or aggregate is an asset.
  • Ability to establish rapport with a wide range of customers, and identify customers' needs and sales opportunities.
  • Promote and sell to customers across Western Canada – Travel is essential
  • Bilingual (English & French) is good to have.
  • A driver's license and a good driving record are required.
  • Strong working knowledge of computers (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet)
