About the role:

Our Audit Group is looking for looking for a experienced, service-oriented and well rounded Manager to join our growing Public Company Audit and Assurance Group in our downtown Vancouver office. In this role, you will work directly with clients and Partners to deliver assurance and advisory services for public companies and private clients. The ideal candidate will have public practice experience working with publicly listed companies, strong technical accounting and audit experience.

Our public company audit team is full of people obsessed with details. They work diligently to stay on the forefront of constantly changing regulatory standards, while examining our clients' finances with a keen eye. Thanks to their hard work, our PUBCO team is able to provide both our clients and the public with assurance that the company's financial statements can be relied upon.

How you'll make a difference:

• Manage and conduct external audits and reviews of publicly-listed and private clients;
• Read and review financial statements and accompanying notes;
• Assist with client management and foster excellent relationships with clients, including managing the information flow;
• Plan, lead audit team and manage engagements;
• Provide exceptional service, sound solutions and advice to our clients;
• Assist with field training and lead field staff effectively;
• Train and develop junior staff.

Who you are:

• You are a seasoned Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a proven track record of excelling in managerial roles within the dynamic realm of Audit and/or Assurance in public practice firms. Your extensive experience underscores your adeptness in navigating the complexities of audit environments.
• Your forte lies in project management, where you have consistently demonstrated your ability to juggle multiple tasks, meet stringent deadlines, and adhere to allocated budgets.
• Your superior interpersonal and leadership skills are evident in your unwavering commitment to professional excellence and client satisfaction.
  
• Notably, you possess a knack for fostering positive relationships with clients, coupled with a strategic mindset that enables you to understand their unique needs. Your ability to cultivate strong business relationships and execute tailored plans to meet client objectives underscores your dedication to delivering value-added services and fostering long-term partnerships.
• With a robust foundation in technical accounting and audit principles, you bring a wealth of knowledge to the table. Your exposure to working with publicly listed companies, particularly within industries such as mining, oil and gas, and technology, positions you ideally for the challenges of the role.
