What you will be doing:

As a Clinical Supervisor, you will work within a leadership team. You will provide ongoing clinical supervision and consultation to your team as well as regular formal supervision focusing on performance progress, clinical support, caseload review, and file audits. You are collaborative in your approach and have the ability to build effective teams.

  • Maintain clinical skills by having a small clinical caseload, using a variety of evidence based therapeutic modality
  • Respond to clinical and client emergencies
  • Review critical incident reports
  • Oversee administrative tasks related to specific therapy programs (e.g. referrals to therapists)
  • Participates with community interest groups
  • Support processes of program development and evaluation
  • Must be able to support with some evening and/or Saturday hours

What you will bring to the role:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
  • Minimum of Five (5) years counselling experience with individuals, couples, and families
  • Supervisory experience
  • Knowledge and skills to work with people affected by trauma
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Background Check Process & Requirements:

As a part of the selection process, The Family Centre will conduct reference checks with your most recent employers.

  • Police Information Check – Vulnerable Sector and Intervention Record Check (completed within the last 6 months)
  • Child Intervention Record Check (completed within the last 6 months)
  • Our Children Are Sacred Youth Suicide Prevention Training or ASIST Suicide Intervention Training, required within 3 months of start date
  • Certification and registration in good standing with applicable professional associations

Compensation - Our comprehensive compensation package offered to employees reflects a strong commitment to employee wellbeing and is competitive within the marketplace.

  • $78,136 to $93,063 annually
