Equispheres is a materials science engineering firm specializing in high-performance metal powders for additive manufacturing (i.e., 3D printing) in the automotive, aerospace, and defense industries. We focus on developing innovative, clean-tech solutions with our deep knowledge of metallurgy and metal technology. Our industry-disruptive atomization technology produces metal powders with unique characteristics that enables additive manufacturing to produce faster, stronger, and lighter parts at a cost that competes economically with traditional manufacturing techniques.

The Role
Equispheres is currently looking to hire a Production Labourer -Day Shift (12 Hours) as part of our continued growth to our operations team. You will be responsible for

• Operating a Bandsaw and Miter saw in order to process raw material into usable sizes.
• Performing scheduled maintenance on the above equipment.
• Helping to develop process to increase output and reduce costs.
• Other duties as determined from time to time.

Qualifications & Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications of education, experience and skills:

• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
• Minimum of High School Diploma.
• Manual assembly skills – must be able to use basic workshop tools.
• Able to follow detailed process instructions and operate plant machinery.
• Must be diligent and have a strong attention to detail.
• Able to work in a production environment requiring physical activities.
• Basic level computer skills are required.
• Must agree to complete a background check as part of the recruitment process.
