Our Associates provide Individuals with physical, developmental, cognitive, and/or mental health challenges within a variety of client-based settings including homes, residences, community facilities and institutions will benefit from our support services.
We are currently hiring PSWs, DSWs, Direct Support Workers in the following areas; York region, Durham region, Northcumberland region, Belleville, and the Kingston areas. $26/hr
Position Overview: We are currently seeking dedicated and empathetic Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with diverse needs, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and support to clients based on their individual needs and care plans.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Foster a positive and empowering environment for clients, promoting independence and self-esteem.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and activities.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Support Worker or in a related role preferred.
- Certification or training in health and social care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient attitude towards clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
