The City of Brooks requires one (1) Seasonal Public Works / Utilities Operator in the Public Works and Utilities Department. This is a position that will be working for approximately three (3) months in duration. There may be opportunities for extension.
Job Details & Responsibilities:
As a Seasonal Public Works / Utility Operator, you will assist Operators in the day to day operations, maintenance and repairs.
Requirements:
- The successful applicant must have a Class 5 Driver's License and a clean driver's abstract.
- Exceptional equipment operation experience is an asset.
- If you are hands-on work, then this is the job for you!
Compensation & Benefits:
The starting wage rate for this position is $20.68 per hour. The successful candidate will also receive a free membership to the JBS Canada Centre during their term of employment.
A clean criminal records check and a current driver's abstract will be required before an offer of employment is presented to the successful applicant.
