Position Overview:
As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of Wing. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and remote work options, allowing you to achieve a healthy work-life balance. You'll work closely with the finance team to execute various accounting tasks, including but not limited to general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and assisting with audits.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist with audit preparation and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting-related issues and inquiries.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work standard EST office hours.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
