Roles & Responsibilities:
- Training and development.
- Business performance management.
- Benefits and compensation management.
- Improving HR process and workflows throughout the organization.
- Conduct disciplinary actions and employee performance management plans as well as resolving internal conflicts.
- Facilitate performance reviews.
- Employee relations, retention, employee rewards, and culture.
- Manage the HRIS system and payroll systems.
- Develop recruitment strategies.
- Liaison between employee and managers.
- Collaborate with hiring managers in the process of recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and terminations.
- Conducting survey management.
- Develop, improve, and implement HR policies & procedures.
- Manage employee records.
- Stay up to date with changing Employment Standards legislation across Canada.
- Set departmental goals and develop a plan that aligns with organizational needs.
- Lead, manage, and provide support for the HR and Payroll Team (Canada and USA).
Qualifications
- 7 years experience in a HR role.
- Experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Experience processing payroll.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team-based environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Highly organized.
- Understand and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Additional consideration will be given to those having any of the following:
- Previous experience with HR in the United States.
- Experience in HR in multiple provinces.
- Experience using BambooHR.

- This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 8:00- 5:00. Located in Ile Des Chenes, MB
