We're looking for an Accounts Payable Associate who loves the details, prides themselves on their organization skills, and thrives in a busy, fast-paced work environment.
Why We Need You:
As a member of a dynamic and growing team, you will prioritize, coordinate, and organize tasks like coding supplier invoices and employee expenses into the system, addressing vendor inquiries and reconciling supplier statements, assisting with auditing and troubleshooting the errors, and in the process.
You will have a positive, professional approach to planning, scheduling, communicating, and organizing the activities of your position. You must be able to develop an understanding of the nature of the Accounts Payable Department's work and relationships, in order to anticipate the needs.

***We're a hybrid team working in the office 3 days a week
What You'll Do
  • Receive, verify, and process invoices including employee expense reports in Tipalti and Concur on a daily basis
  • Correctly code invoices and expenses considering the expense type, location, and purpose. For correct coding, you will also need to be able to identify whether items on the invoices are related to prepayments, fixed assets, or COGS (cost of goods sold)
  • Download invoices from online portal sites and upload them into Tipalti (AP system)
  • Send Weekly and Month-end reminders to managers for approval of invoices
  • Periodic reconciliation of vendor statements
  • Processing invoices and reconciling to PAD payments processed by vendors
  • Follow up with vendors on invoice discrepancies
  • Customer service: promptly responding to vendor and employee queries
  • Assist new vendors with set-up in our payment system
  • Process Excel or Expensify employee expense reports for reimbursement
  • General Ledger account reconciliations
  • Assistance in preparing and gathering information for accrual accounting
  • Participate in month-end reporting
  • Maintain filing systems for the accounting department and other Admin work
  • Document, develop, and recommend process improvements

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Putting the customer at the heart of all decisions and actions
  • Desire to always question, not only how we can do better, but how we can do remarkably better
  • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office tools
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite, Tipalti, and Concur would be considered an asset
  • Superior organizational skills, ability to multitask with an eye for detail
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, displaying initiative and problem-solving abilities

The expected salary is $48,000 to $60,000. The actual base pay can increase beyond this range and will be based on various factors, including transferable skills, training and certifications, work experience, business needs, and market demands.
