Modern and convenient, The Centre of Health Excellence Urgent Access Clinic provides patients with timely access to a physician and a healthcare team for publicly funded primary care MCP covered conditions. We are a team-based practice with the objective of exceptional patient care in an efficient and comfortable space using the latest technology.

Our new and modern clinic is conveniently located in Churchill Square and is based on a team approach focused on eliminating operational barriers for physicians. Enabling them to deliver more efficient, high-quality healthcare, resulting in improved access for patients. In other words, an enjoyable environment where physicians can spend their time on what matters most - taking care of patients!

The Role

• This opportunity is open to all, whether new to practice or experienced, looking to supplement an existing practice or start something new, but in all cases are keen to join a team that has a mission to create a more efficient system and great patient experiences.
• Become part of our growing and diverse team of physicians and healthcare professionals delivering primary care in an appointment based urgent access care setting.
• The CHE offers very competitive compensation options with the potential to earn between $250,000 to $300,000+ (after overhead) with 5 weeks of vacation.

The Requirements

• A family medicine specialist with experience in primary or urgent care medicine and is looking for an opportunity that differs from traditional primary care models.
• Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador.
• Comfortable using technology and passionate about its potential in healthcare.
