About the Key Account Manager OP Role
The Key Account Manager is responsible for the delivery of business objectives by leading the development and implementation of annual key account customer plans in the on premise environment; working collaboratively with the sales, brand and finance teams on implementing business building actions as necessary. This role will oversee National and regional key account customers with head offices in Ontario and Quebec.
Key Deliverables
- Deliver an annual target by banner and brand
- Deliver minimum execution standard targets by brand and banner
- Publish a monthly scorecard by banner on key business metrics and competitive gaming
- Develop and nurture strong customer relationships at every level
- Beat the competition, deliver/exceed the annual plan and be the partner of choice for our customers
- Provide the Field Sales team with banner specific presentations
- Manage customer investment within budget

Knowledge Competency Requirements
- Canadian Beverage Alcohol industry ways of working
- Provincially mandated alcohol regulatory standards (i.e., AGCO)
- Effective working knowledge of MS Powerpoint, MS Excel
Experience & Other Requirements
- Written and verbal fluency in English and French is required
- Minimum 5 years of on-premise beverage alcohol sales experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in key account management
- Demonstrated history of managing complex customer relationships
- Relevant cross-functional experience (finance, sales, operations, marketing, etc.)
- Post secondary degree in business or a related field
- Must have valid driver's license and fully insured and reliable transportation
- Must be of legal drinking age
- 25% domestic travel is required
- Minimum 20% in field
- Role location is based out of the PMA Head Office in Oakville, Ontario
- Hybrid working environment
Physical Demands
