JOB SUMMARY

As an Account Director at Elite Digital, you will serve as a proactive leader, managing a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors - from small businesses to multinational conglomerates. Your responsibilities include strategic management of client accounts, driving execution of digital marketing campaigns, cultivating client relationships, and leading the account management team alongside the Managing Director. With your comprehensive industry knowledge, you will provide valuable insights, drive business profitability, and contribute to the overall growth of the agency.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage portfolio of multiple accounts
  • With the support of a junior account team and project managers, oversee client deliverables from strategic inception to timely delivery, ensuring adherence to brand messaging, legal requirements, and client-approved budgets
  • Support and challenge strategy, media, creative and production teams to constantly improve work and challenge the status quo
  • Cultivate client relationships and communicate regularly with senior clients, growing the partnership between client and agency
  • Grow business organically by capturing new business opportunities with existing clients and seek out new business opportunities, as appropriate; contribute to RFP process
  • Oversee development of quotes and monitor internal budgets to ensure agency profitability
  • Lead and help mentor an account team, providing strategic oversight and hands on support as required; participate in the hiring, onboarding and evaluating processes

EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • College or University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Proven leadership in managing teams, focused on fostering growth and development.

EXPERIENCE, TECHNICAL SKILLS and KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, account management, or a related role in an agency.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple client accounts and driving results.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate client needs and lead agency partners efficiently.
  • Experience in leading creative and production teams, developing strategic insights, and critiquing creative content.
  • Able to influence clients, internal stakeholders and management through strategic recommendations and data-driven insights, fostering strong relationships and driving impactful marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to command a room, steer conversations towards consensus, and read a room to foster a balanced and healthy client relationship.
  • Understanding digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software
  • Strong leadership qualities with an ability to motivate teams, manage resource allocation and workload balance.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a focus on detail and data-driven decision making.
  • Experience in managing junior team members preferred.
