You will collaborate closely with our process owners in the Manufacturing Engineering Team, focusing on rapidly deploying mechatronic solutions to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.

You will contribute to successfully delivering high-quality products, meeting customer requirements and business objectives. This will lead to world-class, high-volume manufacturing plants for Svante as we expand to meet the global demand for Carbon Dioxide capture products (Structured Adsorbent Beds – SAB).

  • You have proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • You have worked on designs and solutions exhibiting elegantly simple designs founded on strong thought processes and first principles.
  • The right candidate can demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude and cite design challenges where they prioritize mechanical solutions over automation for simplicity.
  • You are familiar with leveraging rapidly iterated minimum viable product designs (MVP) to arrive at robust solutions that match the project's design cycle maturity and requirements.
  • You have experience with advancing PFDs and FMEAs throughout the design cycle to match the maturity of the design.

Bonus Skills and Qualifications:

  • You are familiar with the Rockwell Automation product family.
  • You have experience using practices such as Lean Six Sigma, D/P FMEA, Design of Experiments, Value Stream Mapping, SPC (including Mini-Tab), Kaizen, 5S, and others.

What Success looks like in this role:

  • You will develop and optimize manufacturing processes: Design, develop, and improve mechatronic solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • You will develop innovative solutions for automating manufacturing processes.
  • You will create designs matching the project's maturity using common engineering tools such as PFDs, FMEAs, gauge R&R, and CAD software.
  • You will design mechanical parts and electronic circuits for new systems. Select and integrate appropriate sensors, actuators, and controllers.
  • You will optimize existing mechanical and electronic components for better efficiency and reliability.
