Job Title: Technical Analyst - Mine SystemsJob ID: CV54861261Location: Calgary, ABOverview:As part of the engineering systems team, the Senior Technical Analyst will be a key member of the digital operations team responsible for software development and sustainment of the Standard Haulage Model using Agile approaches. This work includes software development activities, system delivery release management, change management, software quality assurance, and support of the current system. Specific systems to be improved are the Standard haulage Model and other custom-developed solutions within the Mine Engineering domain. Activities include software development (ASP.NET + .NET Core, API development with C#), system design, specification and estimation, development of Service-Based Applications (REST and SOAP & WCF Services), and quality assurance. Improvements will also include the development of system integrations between vendor systems and our custom system. The successful candidate will be reporting in Calgary with a travel requirement to Sparwood / Fernie. What you will be doing:

• Rolling out Haulage as a Service to production (Web Services, Data Management tool),
• Migrating the system to the Cloud platform (Azure),
• Developing and documentation of REST APIs for the system, and
• Sustainment of Haulage-related systems.
• The candidate will deliver value by improving solutions for the requirements/capabilities for existing operations across the company.

• Proven and capable problem solver both independently and as part of a small team following Agile or DevOps processes. · At least 5 years of object-oriented software development experience in C#, JSON, JavaScript, ASP.NET or .NET Core, and/or Angular with experience doing full-Stack development capability to deliver secure applications to a business specification.
• SQL Server Database Application Development with SQL Server 2017 or above including development and support of stored procedures and SSRS Reports.
• Effective interpersonal skills both written and verbal with the ability to engage various stakeholders in the business as well as innovation teams.
• Can efficiently self-lead to provide estimates, prioritize tasks, build and deliver to schedules/multi-sprint planning.
• Phenomenal communications skills to work within multiple squads and provide solutions based on user requests.
• Proven experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery of custom solutions using the Microsoft Technology Stack and Azure DevOps.
• Source Management with Git/GitHub Repos within a Small distributed team.
• Experience with web development in React/Angular, Windows Service Development,
• Release management and Quality Assurance Experience with some Change Management Experience.
• Software Development background including the development of distributed applications
• Web Server Configuration experience: Internet Information Server (IIS) Configuration Experience.
• Familiarity with ORM tools like Entity framework
• Unit Testing and Integration testing
• Experience in Migration of systems to a Cloud-based architecture

• Mining domain knowledge would be an asset.
• JetBrains Toolset for Development.
• Improvement, Incident, and Defect Management Experience with a tool like ServiceNow.
• Spanish Language proficiency
• Container-based development with Kubernetes or App Engine
