We are a general contractor that provides pre-construction, design-build, and construction management services for industrial, commercial, and institutional clients, we specialize in tilt-up construction.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for Estimators to join our team. This is an entry-level position suited for a new graduate who is seeking an opportunity to build a career; however, we are also accepting resumes and expressions of interest from more experienced Estimators for future needs. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform quantity take-offs on various scopes of work.
  • Contact necessary trades and suppliers to obtain bids.
  • Assist in preparing the construction schedule.
  • Develop and maintain sub-contractor and suppliers' databases.
  • Assist in evaluating construction rates, subcontract estimates, and proposals.
  • Assist in preparing scopes of work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The following are requirements for the Estimator role:

  • Working towards or having completed a post-secondary education with a diploma degree in construction management, estimating, quantity surveying, engineering, or related education
  • 0 – 2 years related work experience or combination of education and field experience
  • Strong computer skills or experience using estimating software
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and on-screen take-offs
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Ability to work in a team environment and participate in achieving team goals and objectives
