What would you do? As a Veeam Delivery Specialist, you will work with the Onboarding and Support teams within the organization to plan and deliver client facing projects to meet our clients' IT resilience and cloud computing needs. This is a hands-on role responsible for executing project work and delivering solutions within planned time expectations, while providing a high-touch customer experience to our clients. This role will report to the Manager of Delivery as a member of the HostedBizz Delivery Team.
What are the details?
Primary Responsibilities:
Installing and configuring Veeam Backup and Replication, and other Veeam solutions for customers
Deploying Veeam Backup for M365 solutions and jobs for customers
Deploying virtual machines, firewalls within virtual environments such as vCloud Director
Configuring virtual machines for customers upon first deployment, such as creating Domain Controllers, RDS environments, etc.
Deploying MDR solutions with customers to enhance their internal security ecosystem
Creating and deploying basic M365 organizations as well as providing licensing and account creation assistance
Deploying VDI environments between vCloud Director and VMware Horizon
Ensuring that sales & customer requests are attended to in a timely manner and follow appropriate procedures
Manage multiple onboarding projects, prioritizing work against aggressive timelines
Explain variances and risks during project execution and identify action plans
Work closely with customer IT teams to ensure proper deployment of services
Answering customer queries, arranging onboarding/project dates with partners & clients, communicating with customers pre and post project delivery
Reporting project status and updates in internal systems and dashboards
Resolve roadblocks, working with all stakeholders to solve disruptions to project delivery
Provide concise, consistent, and effective communication
Work with supervisors and managers to recommend process enhancements and to improve efficiency and customer experience
What do you know?
Basic Qualifications:
3 – 5 years of combined experience in backup and business continuity, cloud technologies or as a technician, administrator, engineer, or helpdesk team member e.g., SaaS, IaaS, DRaaS, BaaS.
Experience with Veeam products and services with a strong focus on Veeam Backup and Replication
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as virtualization, networking, backup and recovery, Microsoft, and Linux systems. Public Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure are an asset
Strong problem solving and organizational skills, particularly with time management, and attention to detail
Self-management skills – the ability to manage small projects from start to finish solo
Ability to lead and drive discussions around next steps to resolve issues and progress project work
Status Reporting – ability to communicate project status, health, identify any risk and issues with mitigation plan to address
Exemplary written communication and presentation skills
Comfortable engaging with external customers, both at the technical and executive levels
Experience working in a modern desktop environment with software such as: Microsoft Office, Teams, Slack, Zendesk and Zoom

Professional Certifications e.g., Veaam, MSFT, Fortinet, Cisco, CompTIA
Experience working with work management or ticketing systems e.g., CRM, Salesforce, and Zendesk
Experience with common virtualization platforms such as: VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix
Previous hands-on experience in DRaaS, BaaS, IaaS, SaaS, network engineering or cloud administration role
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
Ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences
