Accutemp Refrigeration is a Residential & Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration company based on Vancouver Island.

This is an exciting time to join our team at a high-growth stage and build several key processes. The position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent attention to detail in a deadline driven environment. In this role, the Service Coordinator dispatches the technicians, maintains technician schedules, and manages open call lists. Maintains courteous and respectful communication with customers, technicians, and all other team members. Provides technicians with clear and concise information to complete scheduled job.

Duties:

  • Create and schedule all service requests received via the e-mail and/or call ins
  • Dispatch technicians and manage their schedules
  • Create & schedule Planned Commercial Maintenances
  • Verify work order completion and review with technicians as needed
  • Review & address aging open calls
  • Register customer equipment for Warranty as well as administer Warranty service calls
  • Follow up on all scheduled activity for changes in technician calls and update accordingly
  • Maintain customer communication
  • Ability to work under pressure.

Requirements:

Our successful candidate will require the following qualifications, experience and skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a Payroll/Billing and/or Service Dispatch environment an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience working with Timberline Construction Software or like program would be an asset
  • Basic understanding of accounting (A/R & A/P)
  • Excellent interpersonal / team building skills, reliable and trust worthy
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload & be detail oriented
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) in a wide variety of settings with a wide variety of people
  • Effective organizational, time management and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail while maintaining a high level of accuracy
