Plasman Windsor - Plant 3 at 635 Sprucewood Ave, Windsor ON , N9C 0B3 is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as:

Technical Supervisor

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with good communication skills and would be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Ensure proper set up to the Production Schedule-W3M.
• Monitor and make process adjustments as required to maintain quality and productivity levels.
• Focus on Continuous Improvements, including Cycle time reductions.
• Standardize mold change times and startup to achieve company standards.
• Promote and maintain a team atmosphere throughout.
• Identify and recommend maintenance if required.
• Maintain S.P.C. aspects of process and react when problems arise.
• Direct "A" - "B" level techniciansWP1, Process Technicians(W3M) and Set-up technicians in a manner conductive to their development and education.
• Perform or support mold tryouts and communicate concerns both verbally and through documentation.
• Control and monitor moulding process.
• Ensure equipment is in good mechanical condition to provide safe operation.
• Assist other personnel where required.
• Comply with established rules, procedures, and Health and Safety Mandates.
• Operate overhead cranes in a safe manner.
• Maintain and ensure personal and associate awareness and understanding of ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 (includes ISO 9001) Standards, and company policies and procedures.
• During management system audit events provide evidence in support of conformance with applicable standards and procedures and participate in corrective action activities as necessary.
• Ensure that a clean and safe work environment is always maintained.
• Ensure that employees receive proper training and understand all job tasks.
• Promote an atmosphere of teamwork at all times.
• Complete any other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• Recognized Technical Diploma in related area considered an asset.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 8 -10 years process control and troubleshooting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.

• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal.

• Have an excellent working knowledge and understanding of all equipment and computer.

• Knowledgeable in integrated manufacturing technology as it relates to the facility
