Job Description
The Process Server at NCRi will team with the legal department to deliver legal notices and court documents to individual parties, or their legal representatives involved in a legal action, in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
Core Responsibilities (include, but not limited too)
- Deliver legal and court documents to individuals and/or organizations while remaining professional.
- Skip tracing when necessary
- Keep proper records of service of process that would be admissible in court if needed.
- Perform responsibilities while complying with local/provincial laws.
- Any reasonable other duties included.
Requirements
- At least 1+ years of prior experience in at least one of the following; Process Server, Law Clerk, Security, Law Enforcement, Court Services
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Understanding and experience in Skip tracing is an asset
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be located in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area)
