Mikkelsen-Coward is looking for a Boiler Technician to add to our growing team of dedicated professionals providing creative and innovative HVAC solutions to our customers. If you are a motivated individual with extensive knowledge in boilers and other large gas-fired equipment, Mikkelsen-Coward is looking for you to join our team. We will provide you with everything you need from tools, training, support and no shortage of work. We are a service first company but have many small to large installation projects throughout the year.
We are looking for someone with the following skills and assets:
- Maintaining and adjusting boiler systems.
- Keeping service and repair logs and having strong communication with the customer.
- Preventative Maintenance Checks on Boiler's and associated equipment.
- Yearly Teardown's and inspection's with ITSM
- New Boiler installations and Replacement
- Site Foreman for Large to Small Boiler install Projects.
- Red seal Plumber/gasfitter or Pipefitting
- Extensive background on gas-fired equipment, hot water systems, High- and Low-pressure steam systems.
- “A” ticket preferred, minimum B ticket with recorded hours under a registered A ticket Gasfitter.
- Proven troubleshooting, service and installation experience.
- High level of electrical and control Knowledge for heating equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to identify potential opportunities with noncontract and contract customers
- Ability to determine effective time management and planning
- HVAC technical skills with 4 years' experience minimum servicing commercial/industrial building HVAC equipment and controls
Compensation would follow standard Union Rates with an additional Incentive Program.
