We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee our Mississauga warehouse operations and ensure the efficient management of inventory, storage, and distribution.

Position Overview: As the Warehouse Manager, you will play a critical role in the smooth operation of our 15000 SF warehouse facility. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory control, receiving and shipping, and facility maintenance. Your leadership and strategic planning skills will be essential in optimizing warehouse efficiency, reducing costs, and improving overall performance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Management:
    • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate tracking and management of stock levels.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and address issues in a timely manner.
    • Optimize inventory storage and organization to maximize space utilization and accessibility.
  2. Receiving and Shipping:
    • Oversee the receiving process, including inspection, verification, and proper storage of incoming shipments.
    • Coordinate outbound shipping activities, including order picking, packing, and shipment scheduling.
    • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and requirements, including proper documentation and labeling.
  3. Warehouse Operations:
    • Manage day-to-day warehouse activities, including staff supervision, task assignment, and performance monitoring.
    • Implement efficient workflows and processes to streamline warehouse operations and improve productivity.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  4. Quality Assurance:
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of products and shipments.
    • Conduct inspections and quality checks to identify and address any issues related to product quality or packaging.
    • Collaborate with other departments to address quality-related concerns and implement corrective actions.
  5. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and objectives.
    • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to effectively manage and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in RF SMART warehouse management systems (WMS) and NetSuite applications.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
