Job Description: Hydraulic Bolt Tensioning Technician
Assisting with site operations as instructed by the Bolt Tensioning Lead/Senior Bolting Technician.
The role requires the holder to assist with Bolt Tensioning Activities: Hand Torquing, Hydraulic Bolt Torquing and Hydraulic Bolt Tensioning as specified in the company procedures for each operation undertaken. The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Background and experience in Mechanical Fitting/Pipefitting and or Hydraulic Equipment. Training will be provided to suitable candidate. Pre employment Drugs and Alcohol.
Knowledge, training, and experience required:
- Minimum of 24 Months previous/similar experience preferred.
- Computer literate for updating site paperwork and training modules.
- Good understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
- Mechanical Background.
- Experience of working with high pressure hydraulics.
- Experience of working to deadlines.
- Full Driving Licence.
- Knowledge of all equipment used during above processes preferred.
- Physically Fit and able to lift max 40lbs.
- Previous Oil and Gas experience preferred.
- Negative Pre-Employment Drugs and Alcohol Test.
Shift schedule.
Local candidates to Kitimat and Terrace 6 days 10-hour shifts
Fly in Fly Out- 14/7 -10 hours a day.
