DescriptionReena is actively looking for Summer Camp, Full-Time Recreational Support Workers (RSW) to work within Reena's Community Outreach programs. As a RSW, you would be providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
This is a great opportunity for University/College students looking for Full-Time employment, with an opportunity for extensions and growth within the agency.
June Mon- Friday, 9-5pm, July and Aug- 8:30am - 4:30pm.Day Shifts only.

Please note there may be a possibility for the role to get extend Part Time during the year (subject to change).

Job Responsibilities· Assisting individuals with developmental disabilities in meeting their needs of daily living· Design and implement recreational based activities· Reinforce social and life skills· Participate in mandatory meetings and training
QualificationsRequirements
  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years and older.
  • Possession of a valid G license preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Comfortable with driving Reena's van for transportation purposes (if applicable)
Qualification
  • Background related to child care, education, social work, psychology, social services, child and youth worker
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn
  • Flexible and adaptive to change
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Creativity, patience, and a passion for working with children and youth.
