Position: Sales Supervisor (Full Time)

Facility: Ripley's Aquarium of Canada Reports to: Director of Sales, Marketing & Events

Job Purpose: The Sales Supervisor supports the Sales Team and responsibilities include but are not limited to: maintaining business communications, initiating contracts, maintaining business communications, managing booking details and correspondence, preparing files, preparing presentations, processing payment, and administrative duties. The Sales Supervisor will provide key support to the entire Sales Team and Client before, during, and after the booking. This role is instrumental to the success of the organization in helping to contribute to our annual budget and attendance targets. This position may require local / provincial travel.

Additionally, due to the nature of our business we work when others play. Ripley's Aquarium of Canada LP is open 365 days of the year, this makes our company and industry fun and exciting, but it is something to consider. You will be expected to be regularly available to work any shift before, during or after the hours of operation.

Critical Accountabilities:

  • Manage sales bookings, including correspondence, communication, scheduling, and billing
  • Welcome, direct and facilitate group arrivals to ensure smooth entry into the building
  • Provide key support to Sales Team before, during, and after booking
  • Establish and build healthy working relationships with stakeholders and identifying prospective partners.
  • Prepare, distribute / communicate promotional and collateral sales materials including direct mail campaign. components, flyers/packages, web content, electronic newsletters for tradeshows, conventions.
  • Build upon our Corporate Program, Concierge Program and be the main point of contact.

Special Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations in the attractions / hospitality industry.
  • Customer Service is number one priority
  • Experience with Siriusware or other attractions ticketing systems preferred.
  • Goal-oriented, articulate, creative, friendly, and outgoing.
  • Multi-lingual is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized, team oriented and motivated.
