As part of the expansion plans in Canada, we are looking for experienced, energetic, passion-for- Stockroom Supervisor for our MANGO VAUGHAN MILLS location. This position reports directly to the Store Manager.

MISSION
To lead and manage the team in receiving and controlling merchandise and its storage in the stockroom. To undertake store replenishment according to company procedures, in order to ensure that the shop floor is customer ready at all times.


JOB DESCRIPTION- STOCK ROOM SUPERVISOR


The Stockroom Supervisor is responsible to lead and manage the team in receiving and controlling merchandise and its storage in the stockroom. To undertake store replenishment according to company procedures, to ensure that the shop floor is always customer ready. The Stockroom Supervisor may open or close the store as well as provide coverage during peak times to cover breaks, meetings and other times as determined by the SM or AM. The Stockroom Supervisor will
continue to play a key role in creating and maintaining a selling focus in the store. This individual will continue to support company and management initiatives/direction while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures as outlined by the organization.

delegate tasks.

JOB DESCRIPTION- Stockroom Supervisor


Key Roles/ Responsibilities


• To set the expectations of how to operate the stockroom with the team
• To assign, delegate, guide, and lead by example along side the team in the completion of tasks
• To motivate the team in their day-to-day work to maximize productivity and results
• Display expert product knowledge of product, company history, company policy and store/company strategies
• Ensure exceptional level of customer service by supporting the sales team
• Adherence to all company policy, procedures, and guidelines
• Perform opening and closing duties when needed.
• Perform merchandise flow duties for the sales floor and backroom as directed.
• Perform POS functions on designated shifts and participate management functions
• Collaborate with the VM and SM in preparing all the material required to perform the store changes
• Works with the VM to provide leadership or assistance with floor sets, window changes and other merchandising and visual expectations
• Communicate actively with the team, according to the needs of the business
• Detect the potential of each employee and ensure their development
• Mentor the skills development of each team member according to their position
• Coach the team on back of house and product flow expectations and correctly and actively manage potential conflict
• Plan the required measures to reach stockroom deadlines and targets.
• Analyze and review stockroom indicators and performance to improve efficiency and store results.
• Consistently prioritize tasks and deadlines in the context of global business and commercial needs
• Supporting, communicating, sharing best practices and information with the other Mango stockroom supervisors
• To be familiar with the products of each season - collection, initial order, colours, sizes, etc.
• To use the different product lists for managing the stockroom (pending packages, transmission, initial order, etc.)
• Participate in updating the Merchandising and Rotation rail
• To be able to recommend alternative garments when out of stock items are requested
• Responsible for controlling and monitoring stockroom materials - alarms, RFID equipment, adhesive tape, etc.
• Reorganize stockroom space in an optimal manner according to the stage of the season and store needs – start of the season, sale period, etc.
• Carry out the re-labelling of garments as required (sale period, promotions, etc.)

• To be aware at all times of the newest products and what is on the shop floor
• Provide product feedback to management team

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE


• Leads by example and can motivate a team; viewed as leader among peers

• Available for varied shifts including weekend, closing and holiday shifts

• Receiving goods, handling standards and protocol
• Partial inventories.
• RFID operations an asset.

• Ability to work a flex schedule (which includes nights, weekend and holiday availability)
• Ability to bend, lift, open and move product and fixtures up to 50 lbs., as needed
• Ability to climb step stools and ladders
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods at a time
• Possess manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to travel to other store locations (if needed) and attend district meetings
• This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers and management
