Job Summary:

The Engineering Manager oversees technical operations and leads a team of Engineers in support of operational excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead mine planning activities including design, construction, and analysis of projects.

• Conduct feasibility studies and provide engineering expertise for problem-solving.

• Identify and implement improvements in production, maintenance, and operations.

• Manage design and development of mine modifications, liaising with vendors and contractors.

• Supervise equipment installation and evaluate project progress.

• Prepare and manage expense and capital projects.

• Maintain project records and ensure compliance with policies.

• Support mine ventilation system design, repair, and verification.

• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory standards.

• Oversee capital project development and advise on environmental aspects.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or relevant field with 7+ years of experience.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Experience managing projects over $5 million.

• Proficiency in ground control and rock mechanics activities.

• Leadership experience with teams of at least 5 members.

• Knowledge of mine ventilation and hoisting systems.

• Supervisory experience in a mining environment.
