Secure Digital Markets is looking for a passionate and hard-working Software Developer: Blockchain & Fintech to help us BUIDL world-class solutions and experiences.

Reporting to the CTO, the successful candidate will work to develop fintech products, and platforms for digital assets, securities, financial instruments, marketplaces; creativity thrives in our global ecosystem.

This role would be ideally suited to an individual with extensive experience with the architecture, development, and infrastructure for fintech such as exchanges, trading, derivatives, risk management, and automation throughout.

Responsibilities Include:

• Collaborating with other developers, project managers and other stakeholders on developing game-changing fintech with a focus on products & platforms for digital assets and financial instruments
  
• Architect & develop bespoke software, which integrates fintech products & platforms blockchains, web2 & web3 stacks, 3rd party APIs, and work holistically with the our Tech Team
• Implement User Interfaces and User Experiences that bridge blockchain interactions and engagements
• Perform QA for yourself and peer-reviews, automate testing holistically (Continuous Integration/Deployment/Delivery)
• Ensure accurate implementation of financial & business logic
• Maintain our high standards of security & compliance, and demonstrate best-practices throughout

Requirements:

• Previous experience developing one or more of the following:
  • Trading systems
  • On-chain/Defi/Blockchain/Web3,
  • Lending Systems
  • Risk Management Systems
  • ERP system
  • Finance/Accounting systems
• Experience with at least 2 of the following:
  • Solidity
  • Hardhat
  • Ethers
  • WalletConnect/Metamask
• 2+ years as a full-stack software development with at least 3 of the following:
  • Javascript
  • React
  • Angular
  • Node.js
  • TypeScript
  • Express
• Experience with 2 or more of the following:
  • Sockets/WebSockets
  • Queuing (e.g. RabbitMQ, AWS SQS)
  • CI/CD, containers (e.g. Docker)
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• 2+ years of experience integrating APIs from various sources/vendors - complex API integrations - demonstrations of high-frequency, high-volume, algorithmic are preferred
• Highly proficient with scalable architectures and languages, from auto-scaling cloud infrastructure to massively parallel processes with Go or the like
  
• Diverse proficiency with storage & caching systems; SQL, NoSQL, Document-oriented, structured/unstructured, key-value, in-memory data/storage systems, etc.
• Broadly knowledgeable on best-practices for version-control with Git, software development pipelines & process

• Experience with Elastic, Cassandra, blockchain/cryptocurrency nodes, Chef, Puppet, Infrastructure as Code tooling (e.g. Terraform) would be considered an asset
