The Role
As a key member of our team the Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general building and property maintenance at the Naturally Pacific Resort. This role will also perform heavy cleaning duties and garbage removal. The position requires someone with a thorough understanding of plumbing, heating and electrical.
Your contributions to the team include:
- Provide routine services to guests, routine building inspections and document repair requirements.
- Perform repairs and adjustments to plumbing, electrical, building fabric and related systems. Including fixtures, pumps, lighting, furniture, floors, etc.
- Additional tasks and duties as assigned.
- 2 years' experience in a maintenance or repair position.
- Experience troubleshooting a variety of technical and mechanical issues autonomously.
- Previous experience working as part of a team with a common goals and vision.
- Demonstrated time management skills with ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to assess a situation for danger or safety issues and act accordingly.
- Trades certificate is an asset.
- Experience in a minimum of 2 of the following areas: pool operations, electrical, H-VAC, plumbing, carpentry, engineering.
