Position: DevOps & IT Manager

What you'll do:

• Build and scale the DevOps and SRE functions within BioConnect's cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
• Assist in the architectural decision-making for our continued cloud platform growth.
• Architect and develop tools to provide automated reliability, performance and security monitoring for our production systems.
• Conduct regular reviews of the security and resiliency of our systems and servers.
• Provide strategic guidance for the growth and development of our internal IT systems and services.
• Lead and grow the DevOps and IT teams within BioConnect.
• Coordinate resources, delivery timelines and release plans with our Product, Development and QA teams.
• Participate in customer support reviews with our Technical Services team and participate in escalation handling as needed.

Key Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to learn and work in a growth environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work with outside vendors.
• 5+ years of experience in both architecting and implementing monitoring of critical production systems for reliability, performance and security within AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Significant past work experience with responsibility for the deployment and reliability of critical, customer-facing production systems.
• 2+ years of team-management experience: ability to hire and retain top talent, and the ability to coach and develop both individuals and teams.
• Strong communication, organizational and analytic skills.
