The Account Coordinator, Social Change will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, exciting environment working on diverse accounts and projects. Our Account Coordinators are always on their feet and ready to assist their colleagues on new business opportunities and client engagements. They will have excellent written and oral communication skills, keen attention to detail, and strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The Account Coordinator is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with clients by collaborating with them and internal teams to ensure timely execution of all client marketing and communication needs.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Writing for internal, client and media audiences
    • Research, creative briefs, reports, proposals, and presentations
  • Supporting integrated communications programs
    • Overall project coordination
    • Contributing to strategy
    • Writing for earned and owned media (news releases, fact sheets, backgrounders, web copy, social media posts, emails and more)
  • Supporting client teams
    • Developing and managing critical paths
    • Coordinating activities with digital and creative team members
    • Documenting client meetings and next steps
    • Maintaining client files
    • Ensuring projects are being delivered on time and on budget

We're looking for someone with:

  • Post secondary degree, diploma or certificate in communications, journalism, marketing, business or related field
  • Strong oral/written communication skills; storytelling abilities
  • Basic photography and videography skills
  • Experience in social media writing, posting and monitoring
  • Able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Problem solving skills and good judgement
  • Flexibility to travel as required
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Flexibility to travel as required
  • Knowledge of First Nations culture and customs
  • Self identifies as First Nations, Metis or Inuit
