Salary:

Nova Paving (Sask) Ltd. is a well-established heavy civil construction company based in Regina, Saskatchewan. We are looking for hard-working, highly motivated individuals for the role of Grade Crew Foreman. Reporting to the Superintendent and Project Management Team, this position is responsible for directing and managing all on-site construction workers and equipment, enforcing the company's directions, policies, procedures and safety standards, while meeting construction deadlines. The position runs annually from April to December and we are hiring now for the upcoming 2024 season!

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in commercial/residential paving.
  • Valid Driver's License & reliable transportation.
  • Able to work as a team and provide guidance to your crew.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct people, equipment and resources for paving roads, parking lots and driveways.
  • Ensure sufficient deployment and productivity of work crews.
  • Work as a team member and leader to carry out all site work as required.
  • Organize and coordinate the daily activities of all crew members and equipment.
  • Plan work in an efficient and effective order, maximizing progress in a safe and timely manner.
  • Engage in open communication with the Superintendent and Project Managers, and report any issues which could affect the project plan.
  • Ensure company equipment is operated, cared for, maintained and used effectively.
  • Read and interpret project plans and specifications as required.
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to multitask.
