Leader Name: Senior Manager, Strategy and Insights

Work Arrangement: Hybrid: You'll work both remote and onsite at a corporate location, where time onsite is based on your job accountabilities and performance objectives.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, Strategy and Insights, this position is a key team member who will provide financial and operational support. The Financial Analyst will gain valuable experience in industry accounting, financial reporting and analysis, including foundational experience with month end analysis, development of process documentation, financial reconciliations, data visualizations and presentations. The role will be responsible for performing financial analysis to support decision-making processes, conducting research and analysis on market trends, helping maintain budgeting and forecast models to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement. In addition to making an impact on the day-to-day financial operations of the business unit, your work will provide meaningful information to aid senior management's key decisions for ATB Financial. Detail-oriented with a sharp mindset, along with being a team player, are key elements to being ALL IN and being part of a winning team.

Requirements

• Highly-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented and strong time management & organizational skills
• The ability to adapt to new situations and prioritize when needed
• Strong communications skills
• Relationship-building and collaboration skills
• The ability to be self-motivated and are able to initiate activities with minimal supervision
• A passion for learning and our industry
• The ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to think outside the box while providing strong analysis and insight
• University Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
• Prior accounting work experience is considered an asset
• Google Sheets or Excel experience
• Prior SAP or other reporting program experience an asset
• Working towards, or intent to work towards, a professional designation, including CPA, MBA, CFA
