Position Overview:

The Acquisition Group is looking for a dedicated and meticulous Data Analyst to provide support and statistical analysis for our client, TELUS Communications.

You are a team player, with a passion for data, looking to drive meaningful change in a fast-paced team. As a Data Analyst, you'll be learning and working with multiple tools such as Domo, Jira, and Salesforce to support Marketing and Sales Strategy. You'll have the opportunity to grow into the role and take on exciting new projects that will influence the direction of our Program.

Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting & Reporting: Manage, track, and analyze business forecasts and actuals via regular dashboard reporting
  • Vendor Management: Third-party vendor management, including creation of business targets, issues management, escalation support, and training

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement continuous process improvements, driving toward meaningful outcomes
  • Project Management: Define project scope and objectives, develop action plans against schedule
  • Program Support: Support the team in reporting progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders
  • Collaboration: Working with portfolio and functional leads on cross-functional initiatives

Required Experience:

  • 3+ Years experience in a management consultant or business analyst role
  • Familiarity with Telecommunications is considered an asset
  • Experience leading calls/discussions with team members/vendors
  • Knowledge of tools like Salesforce, Domo, Tableau etc. is considered an asset
  • Project management, Process improvement, New process development and reporting
  • 2+ year College/University education in Technology or Business program is considered an asset

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven business acumen with a disposition for change/risk management
  • Effective networker with experience in influencing, building relationships, and communicating (verbal and written) with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work with peers in a cross-functional setting
  • Ability to prioritize tasks from multiple stakeholders and meet deadlines with quality deliverables
  • Advanced Microsoft Office ability (especially MS Excel)
  • Strong work ethic and solutions-oriented, with an understanding of the business and financial elements of a large operation
  • Self-starter with proven organizational and time-management skills

Professional Designation/Certification:

  • Undergraduate degree in business is considered an asset
  • Business analysis or project management certification is considered an asset
