We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC technician to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for residential and commercial properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that HVAC systems operate safely, efficiently, and effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install new HVAC systems and components, including ductwork, compressors, condensers, and other equipment.

• Perform regular maintenance on HVAC systems, including changing filters, lubricating moving parts and checking electrical connections to ensure proper performance.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance and performance issues with HVAC systems and recommend appropriate repair and replacement solutions.

• Perform repair work on HVAC systems, including replacing worn or broken parts, repairing refrigerant leaks, and adjusting system controls.

• Monitor and test HVAC systems to ensure that they operate efficiently and meet safety standards.

• Keep accurate records of all maintenance, repairs and installation work carried out on HVAC systems.

• Participate in regular training and development programs to stay up-to-date with industry innovations and changes.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Proven experience as an HVAC technician, with a minimum of 3 years work experience.

• Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, particularly in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

• Ability to work with electrical and refrigeration systems.

• Good communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

• Must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights.

• Must possess a valid driving license.

• Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime, as needed.
