Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP FICO Architect to join our dynamic team in Toronto. This role involves a thorough analysis of our current financial processes within the SAP FICO framework, identifying critical pain points, and outlining the scope of work required for optimal system performance. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in SAP FICO, with a deep understanding of financial workflows and interfaces in a retail environment.Key Responsibilities: Current System Analysis: Conduct a detailed examination of the existing finance workflows in our SAP FICO environment. Understand and document all operational intricacies including but not limited to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Treasury, and Costing functions.
Pain Point Identification: Identify and analyze pain points in the current financial processes. Prioritize issues based on their impact on business efficiency and suggest feasible resolutions.
Scope of Work Definition: Define and document the full scope of work necessary to address and rectify identified issues. This includes detailing enhancements, modifications, and potential upgrades to the existing SAP FICO setup.
Interface Analysis: Investigate and map out all existing and required interfaces to the finance module. This includes both incoming and outgoing data interfaces, ensuring seamless integration and data consistency across systems.
Scope Document Creation: Draft a comprehensive scope document that outlines identified needs, proposed solutions, and project expectations to guide subsequent phases of the project.
Resource Planning: Develop a strategic resourcing plan that aligns with project goals and timelines. This plan should detail the types and numbers of resources required, including timelines for involvement at each project phase.
