Job Overview

Reporting to Member Accounts Administrator, this position is the control point for the collection of all receivables, identifying uncollectable amounts and supervision of all receipts. Proper execution of this position assures efficient management of the Club's assets, accuracy of member accounts and accuracy of the General Ledger distribution.

Specific duties would include, but are not limited to:

  • Answers on member inquiries about their accounts and processing of resulting adjustments.
  • Billing, collection of monies and follow up.
  • Billings of Professional (commissions; Tennis, Badminton, Pickleball & Fitness), Pro shop and Wellness Centre
  • Monthly billings – Annual & monthly dues, entrance & deferred entrance fees.
  • Requisitioning of cheques for section and input into the AR system.
  • Assistance with scanning Accounts Payable invoices for approval and/or payment
  • Generates list of member accounts in arrears and creates letters to be sent to Members.

Job Qualifications

  • College degree, diploma or equivalent.
  • Over 2 years of experience in a computerized club accounts receivable system, collections, cash handling and customer service at a supervisory level.
  • Excellent keyboard skills, pleasant telephone manner, accuracy and reliability.
  • Has the ability to multi-task, work under pressure and solve member and team members related problems.
  • Has the ability to work independently or with a team as required.
