RequirementsMore About You
You have a post-secondary degree or diploma.
You have a strong interest in the insurance industry.
You posses a Level I or Level II General Insurance License, or a strong motivation to obtain one.
You are naturally inclined to take initiative independently; you are resourceful and like staying up-to-date.
You demonstrate an “other-focused” approach to people.
You possess better-than-average computer skills - your typing skills up there with the best of them!
You can communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
You are detail oriented, organized, and able to multi-task. You understand the significance of these skills.
You can work at a quick pace under pressure; possess time management skills.
You like people and are willing to serve them with a smile, even when conflict arises.
Assets include experience with Keal / Vertafore's BMS, Applied Rating Services, (Compuquote), and insurance company portals
Sales and service. Attracting new clients and taking great care of the ones we already have.
Responding to client inquiries regarding insurance coverage, billing issues, claims, and certificates of insurance
Providing quotations for potential policy changes
Re-evaluating appropriate personal insurance coverages on existing lines of business
Processing renewals to ensure retention of existing client relationships
Entering and maintaining client information in the broker management system (Vertafore Sig)
Processing policy changes on insurance company portals
Provide support to sales staff as needed
Cross-selling other First Foundation services to clients
Answering and directing calls and emails to employees of the brokerage
