Position: Sales Associate Reports to: Retail Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Display great customer service in person and over the phone
  • Answering customer's questions, asking appropriate questions to determine customer's needs, up selling when appropriate
  • Working at the till; handling cash, credit sales
  • Actively demo store products; preparing demo's according to Food Safe standards
  • Filling store shelves, coolers and freezer with products; using the correct rotational system
  • Stocking and re-stocking shelves with the retail products
  • Cleaning the Café and Retail Store at closing and throughout the day
  • Ensuring the garbage and recycling is taken out when full
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of the bathrooms

Requirements

Requirements, Skills, & Qualification:

  • Able to provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to frequently bend and reach while stocking
  • Flexibility with schedule changes and shift times
  • Able to lift 25 kg
  • Availability 2-5 days per week, and must be available on Sunday's
  • Fully proficient in English
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Able to handle constant change (change in product offering, change in company policies) with a positive attitude
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Customer service experience is an asset
